It's another evening at the Meadows, and Gansey has 4 books spread in a semi-circle in front of him on the floor of his room, leather bound journal (a twin of his one from home) in his lap. He's just getting started for the night and he's invited Annabeth over like he's been doing more often recently. He's already cleaned up his desk and set up her drafting table area on it, looking forward to her company, whether it be while talking to each other or in relative silence. Gansey is always in a better mood in her presence.
He leaves his door open for her as he also has been doing--she doesn't need a formal invitation in here anymore.
It's come to a point that it's no longer if one of the two of them are coming over to the other's place, but a matter of which place, and what time. Tonight, it's Gansey's room, and Annabeth takes only enough time to finish up her conversation with Magnus and getting into more comfortable clothes, and picks up her key.
She's gotten pretty good at the key Alex gave her, too - appearing right outside of Gansey's door so that as she steps in, she can close it behind her, giving him an easy smile as she walks in. Even when she first stepped into this room, she knew it was an easy place to be, but now it's gotten to the point that she's comfortable here, slipping out of her shoes by the door and walking in over to where Gansey is already set up on the floor, stepping in behind him so that her legs are right behind his back, leaning over him.
"Any updates?" She asks, her eyes already scanning the books and journal he has laid out in front of him.
